ParetoLogic Privacy Controls is a fast, comprehensive and easy to use product. While the scanning selection categories and sub-categories can be intimidating, selecting the default options will provide excellent scanning, cleaning and erasing performance eliminating your Internet and computer activity history and providing security and peace of mind aboutyour privacy.

Starting ParetoLogic Privacy Controls displays the following simple to use interface. Click “Options” to select or deselect your scan categories and sub-categories. I would strongly recommend staying with the default scan options initially until you become more experienced with the product. Click the “Start Scan” button to start the scanning, cleaning and erasing process.

After scanning is complete, you are presented the “Results” screen. You may now select categories and sub-categories for removing. Clicking the “More Info” link expands the category section to the sub-categories and specific files for selecting and deselecting from the removal process. After making your selection, click the “Remove” button and the cleaning, erasing and shredding process will begin. The shredding level is determined from the shredding level selected on the “Advanced Shred” area.

After the cleaning, erasing and shredding process is complete; the “Scan Results” screen is updated indicating the cleaning is complete and providing statistics on the cleaning process. You are now done! Your computer is secure and your privacy is preserved.
